Hello.

Please, help resolve next issue.
I cannot configure the Latest Events module properly for the following conditions. Let us say:
A) There are some single upcoming event (eg., July, 24), OR[/list:u]
B) There is a regularly recurring event (eg., each Monday) OR[/list:u]
C) There is irregularly recurring event with arbitrary date (eg. July 16, 20, 22, 30, etc.)[/list:u]
and value 'Maximum Events to Display' equal to 3 and current date is July, 13.

1) First Objective: to show one or more future events closest to the current date.
2) The second problem: The same, but when module displaying on Event Detail Page - to show only events of the category to which this event belong. This question is about possibility of dynamic definition category by the module.

For example, if I have a recurring event on Monday, then date of event closest for current day - is July 18. For single event from conditions it will be July 24. For irregular events - July 16.

And also, I would like to show this date or the only first date for recurring events in the module blocks (3 in my case) for each event, f.i:
event C: 07/16;[/list:u]
event B: 07/18;[/list:u]
event A: 07/24;[/list:u]

Is there a keyword for use in the Custom Format String? I tried using 'eventDate', but this key displays the current date, not the closest. Or maybe there is any variable that can be displayed in the module template?

Current settings, what I did, in the screenshot attached. In this case, only output the message "No events" ((

Thanks

See https://www.jevents.net/frequently-aske ... at-strings for keywords etc. you probably want startDate instead of eventDate (especially for multi-day events).

There is a config option to choose to show only the next or all individual repeats.

There is also a config option for choosing what to show for multi-day events.

For your question about showing events from the category the event being viewed is in then you need a silver club member addon - "Matching Events Summary" (see https://www.jevents.net/products-new/ad ... ts-summary).
