Hey hey,

I want to use multicategory as filter.
I can select categories, but nothing happens. The calendar is not filtered.
Pressing 'OK' removes the categories from the filter.

When I use Category as filter it does work, without pressing OK (making that button unnecessary).

Menu item type: List by year
Joomla 3.8.5
JEvents 3.4.44

Also noticed:
- I cannot remove categories after I have selected multiple categories, I have to reset entire filter and start over.
- OK button resets the entire filter
- There's a field below the selection field (<input class="multicatids">;) with a '0'.
- I can add 'reset' to filter, giving me 2 reset-buttons

Is there something I can do to fix this?
Did I miss some options?
Can you help fix it?

If you need more info let me know.

Thank you.
Wim

And PS:
While we/you're at it, can I add a feature request relating to the multicategory filter?
I would like to be able to use checkboxes to filter from a list of categories instead of a dropdown select box.

Hello,

Are you pressing ok after you selected the category and the page is submitting? Can we see a link?

You can use checkboxes with the JEvents Event categories and count module. See:

Many thanks
Tony

Hey Tony, sorry for the late reply.

The issue mentioned above can be seen here: https://kulturhusdenekamp.nl/agenda2

I also noticed that after you click the 'x' to try to remove a category, the category is selectable again even though the first chosen category is still displayed. So it is possible to "display" the same category several times.

I tried with Protostar: same issue.

I purchased the Gold club to get the module you mentioned.
Although the select boxes work as expected.
It also has an extra input field (multicatids) and buttons (Filter and Reset) at the bottom.

Regards,
Wim
