Hi, I created a user in JEvents "Authorised Users" that has the following permissions:
https://s15.postimg.cc/nctupdf3f/screenshot.999.jpg

If I log into the front end as this user and try to edit an event created by the user "root" I get the error
"You are not allowed to create / edit events"

------------

I also tried a second way: I assigned the user to the self created group "Aufsichtenplan" in the Joomla user groups.
Then I went to the jevents plugin -> Manage Categories and gave the following permissions:

https://s15.postimg.cc/vjluh2023/screenshot.1000.jpg

( For this test I do not have the user in JEvents -> Authorized Users )

Here Event that I checked create the user cannot create or edit any events.

The target calender has this config:

For me right now it is only possible that the user can edit and create events if I add him as a JEvents -> Authorized Users
and it is not possible to give him only the edit right, because if I disabled the create permission then the edit does not work anymore

Hello,

In the authorised user mode did you select the category for them Since there is a category and calendar list at the bottom of the config.

For the second way in the JEvents Config -> Permissions what did you set for the category creation permissions under the authorised user mode setting?

Many thanks
Tony

Yes I tried the setting "All" for both Categories and Calendars and now I use this settings with the same result ( cannot create or edit If I disable "Can create Events" in authorizes users.

Then I tries something else. I disabled in " JEvents Configuration -> Permission -> Enable User Authorisation

It gives me the same problem:

I have "Edit own events " and "Edit Events " active ( I tried also "Publish/Manage Events ";) but I can only edit an existing event if I enable "Create Events" for the Joomla UserGroup "Aufsichtenplan". Without the Create Events I cannot create events and also not edit existing events.

Many thanks
Tony
