Hi guys,

I have a bit of an American problem. Throughout my jevents and rsvpro listings I have dates reading as Month day year (eg. Mar 10, 2018) . All is good. But when the event is added to Hikashop it reverts to day/month/year and only uses numbers; so the above date reads 10/3/18. This is not a problem with the date is above 12 but when it's below 12 like my example, Americans are confused. They think they are registering for October 3, 2018. As a result we are getting phone calls and emails.

This is only happening when it's in the Hikashop cart as a product. How can I fix this?

Thanks.

Hello,

See:
https://www.jevents.net/frequently-asked-questions/time-formatting-in-jevents

And you will want to change: DATE_FORMAT_4

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

I added a date formatter to the virtuemart plugin. I can do the same for hikashop, can you provide logins so I can set it up for you?

Many thanks
Tony

Ok I've just checked the code and Geraint is using: DATE_FORMAT_4 to format the date. If you were to create a language override for this you should be able to format it as you wish?

Many thanks
Tony

Sure, what should that language override be?
