Hi,

My client's site is running Joomla 2.5.17, JEvents 2.2.8, and RSVP Pro 1.9.5. They no longer have an active subscription.

If they purchase a Gold subscription, will they be able to update form their old versions of JEvents and RSVP Pro to the newest versions? They already have a lot of events in the database, some with attendees who registered through RSVP Pro, so we want to make sure nothing would get messed up by upgrading.

Any information would be appreciated!

Hello Chris,

Absolutely! Our upgrade process it quite seamless.

Simply install JEvents 3.1.14 via the Joomla! extension Manager, (leave your old one installed, this will replace it).
Then, see:

How to get an update code and update the rest via the Joomla! Updater :). All data should be safe and not touched.

However, WE HIGHLY recommend taking a backup before upgrading just in case.

Many thanks
Tony
