I would love to become a gold member however because paypal sucks so bad I am not able to. I have tried two different browsers on two different computers and after I click submit with my credit card information it changes to loading and then goes right back to my credit card information again with the submit button. No errors pop up just frustration.

I paid and have the invoice. Under my subscriptions it shows gold and active but I am unable to access any of the download areas or the silver and gold forum. Does it take a little while for the subscription to update in those areas or is there something else that needs to be done? Thanks
No - it should be instantaneous once the paypal payment has been approved.
Your Joomla account has been upgraded but it seems your forum account has not. Can you logout and login again from the home page of JEvents.net? does that help?

Wow thanks for the quick reply. It does seem that I can download items in the paid area but I can't access the forums. I logged out and logged in with a different browser. When I try to access gold and silver forums it says "You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum." I had tried to logout and login prior to posting the question but was unable to access either the download or the forum area so maybe it will just take a little time.
Your forum account now appears gold so you should be able to access the club forums. If not then please logout and logion one more time.
