Hi everyone,

I am designing an app that will have an agenda section. This agenda will be extracted from a Joomla page via JSON.

The goal : the app will be sold to a few customers, each of them administrating their own agenda.

1st customer -> App #1 -> Agenda #1
2nd customer -> App #2 -> Agenda #2
etc...

So I need to design a Joomla structure where each user can admin his own agenda, for example :
<!-- w -->www.blabla.com/customer#1/agenda<!-- w -->#1
<!-- w -->www.blabla.com/customer#2/agenda<!-- w -->#2
...

Each agenda are not related to the others (may just the same type of categories), and I need to be able to extract infos from each of these agendas.

Is it possible ?

Cheers !

Hello,

We do have the JEvents Agenda/Minutes plugin. See:
http://www.jevents.net/products-new/add ... le-links-2

Then you can use the Joomla! content component to manage the agendas etc all with Joomla! ACL.

Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony, thanks for the quick reply :)

Actually, I'm not sure how the Agenda/Minutes plugin can help me :oops: . I am looking to create a different agenda for each user.

I found this link : <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://www.jevents.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&;t=486]viewtopic.php?f=13&t=486[/url]<!-- l --> , which seems to have a good result. One user can manage his own agenda in the frontend.

Only one problem : let's say I'm user 1, and need to manage my calendar (at http://www.blabla.com/user1/agenda1). When I want to add an event, I have the possibility to add it on every other calendars (agenda2 associated to user2, etc...). How can I restrict it to only agenda 1 ?

Cheers !

Hi Loic
I think what you need is the user specific events plugin:

http://www.jevents.net/products-new/add ... fic-events

This will allow your visitors to create and only see their own events. Internally all the events will go to the same calendar, but users will only be allowed to see their own events.

If you really want to have different calendars, you have to enable Authorized Users Mode in your JEvents configuration and then create different calendars (and categories for each of your Users) manually and also manually assign permissions in the Authorized Users area. Then to disable users seeing others' events you need to install and configure the Category and Calendar restrictions plugin: http://www.jevents.net/products-new/add ... rictions-2

From my point of view first option is much simpler and will work fine ;)

Thanks !

I think I might really need to create separate calendars, for exporting each of them to the app.

Now, new topic for the JSON export :)
