Hi Team,
hope u can help me:
I use Joomla 4 and Jevents 3.6.17.
Menu item is "List by category" > and in this view - see also https://www.alpenverein-aibling.de/tourenprogramm/winterprogramm.html
- in the event calendar the descriptions dont have line breaks althought in the backend > manage events, jevents there are line breaks

It looks as though you are using a customised event list layout. Can you show me the template you have set up?

Hi Geraint, did u get my message? I am not aware of using an extra template in jevents or creating custom layout, I just used the default one.
In custom.css is this code: (dont know wehter this creates the prob)

No - HTML actually has no <br> tags or other HTML tags in it.

You are using TRUNCATED_DESC in your custom list view item - this removes the HTML tags before truncating the content. You should use DESCRIPTION instead

I have the same problem, but I don't want the whole description in the list view. Is it possible to avoid the removing of the HTML tags by using TRUNCATED_DESC?

And next idea: Truncate till "read more" - that would be great!

The problem with trying to truncate text that is part of HTML is that we could end up with invalid HTML.

Truncating up to 'read more' is an interesting idea. I'll see what is possible
