Hi support,

I´m trying to convince our school community to use JEvents for our school´s online calendar. While we are basically happy with what we get there is one "strange" behavior in the monthly view (which we will mostly use) that a lot of my fellow teachers with an "analog" calendar history will not go along with: In monthly view all events of the previous and the following month are hidden - which indeed is a strange behaviour, e.g. compared to a google calendar. If we have holidays from the 24th of December to the 6th of January in monthly view it looks like the holidays only start at the 1st of January. Is there any way to have the monthly view show the events of the adjective months? Maybe by using a "non free" plug in or changing some code?

Hello Michael,

So to confirm you are wanting to show events within the grey out part of the month? i.e. 29, 30, 31 of the previous month?

Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

yes exactly - your example "29, 30, 31 of the previous month" matches this January and in this case events on the 1st of February should show up as well.

Thanks
Michael

This is currently not a feature of JEvents though some of the club layouits/themes do show multi-day events that start before the beginning of the month or run into the next.

Hi Geraint,

is there any way to demo one of these clublayouts?
And would´nt it make sense to over a free version, that will behave like the "industry standard" Google?

Thanks Michael
