Hi,

Are the addons compatible with Joomla 3.2 ?

Before purchase we need to know if this addon http://www.jevents.net/products-new/add ... -resources would help us.

In my school, we want to create a program that manages the sanctions given to students.

We have 3 different sanctions = study, discipline and sport

And we have 1200 students.

Is it possible to create a student and give him an event on a given date in category "study" for example

Later tell if he came or not to the appointment

Then one month later give an appointment to that student in category "discipline"

After a period the aim is to sort by student the discipline/study/sport sanctions
and to sort by date/sanction which students ,...

Thanks for the answer,

You would be able to assign students to events in this way but not track their actual attendance.

You may be better off with the RSVP Pro attendance addon (http://www.jevents.net/products-new/addons/rsvp-pro) - with this you can say that a student should be attending an event and at the event itself actually record whether or not they turned up.

You could list the events a student has attended using jevents categories to filter by type.

So all in all it sounds feasible though it depends on how you expect the information to be presented.

I would suggest you join the club as a gold member and see how you get on with RSVP Pro and if it doesn't do what you need send me a message to request a refund.

I downloaded RSVP but I don't see how I can get it started for my school...
I created the 3 categories = study, discipline and sport

Now I'm looking for a way to link different events to a "student"...

Can you put me on the right way ?

When you create an event you can select a specific category e.g. student and then create a menu item to show student events by using the menu item parameters to specify student events.

Are you familiar with creating and configuring menu items in Joomla?

Yes I created specific categories but students is not a category
My categories are the 3 sanctions (study, sport and discipline)

I can via menu item show the events for each category but now I need to add a specific student into a category on a given date and hour. I can create an event in one of the three categories but how can I link it to one of our students ?

Ok - Did you create an event with a registration session i.e. attendance enabled?

If you have then create a RSVP Pro => list sessions menu item (probably with special access) and If you are now logged in as the event creator you should see a link in the attendee count column which you can click and then add attendees. The demo video for managing attendees may help explain this.

Alternatively you could use the invitations system to invite the students to attend their sanction.
