Hello!
I'm a little confused about JEvents support for Joomla core updater.
After downloading and extracting version 3.1.39 package, I checked both "pkg_jevents.xml" and the main component "manifest.xml".
The first has no "UpdateServers" section; the second has a commented "UpdateServers" section.
At the same time, on a customer site I can see that JEvents v3.1.39 exists in the Joomla extensions updates list and can be updated from there.
Can you clarify a bit?

The entry is added directly in the update servers database table when you view JEvents in the backend of Joomla the first time. This allows us to create entries for our commercial addons and also create update entries that are conditional on JEvents version number instead of Joomla version number
