Hi all,
in a ngo-website we use jevents in standard version.

Because of a personal failure, as i thought, they don´t need this any longer (no events shown for a longer period) i deleted jevents in the joomla system. Oh dear. Now i know, they will use it in near future...
I installed jevents new - but all settings are gone - of course.

My question is: should it be possible, to write the settings and all related only from jevents by extracting and importing the jevents-part of the database backup? And only the settings, no event-data!

To load a full backup will not work, because some modifications and many content is done after deleting jevents.

But if i have an older backup (just a few days, included the installed jevents, is it possible to export the settings and so on partly?

Thanks a lot for your assistance!

The JEvents settings are stored in the 'params' column of the core joomla #_extensions table - so you should be able to copy that field value.

You may also need to recreate categories? If you do look for the ones in the Joomla #_categories table with extension='com_jevents'
