Hello,

You need to delete the events first, then empty the trash.

Set your new calendar as the default and you can delete the old one.

Thanks
Tony

Thats what I did .. but ... the orphan events are staying behind..I cant see them anymore.. probably still in the database. So I am looking for an uninstall of the tables (drop or delete)

I will display the message here..
Bericht
Deze verwijderen maakt een wees-evenement aan - verwijder eerst het evenement
translation..
Deleting will make orphan events - delete events first

BUT there is no event in event overview (all and history yes) so i cant delete a event what is not visible.

Maybe its possible to get an uninstall that ALSO deletes / drops the jevent tables.

I will reinstall again if thats so. At this moment I cant see even the day eventdetails or week. only month display works..

mail me if you need the web-page!

We usually stay on the safe side so we do not remove JEvents tables when uninstalling just to prevent user uninstalling by error.

What you can easily do is to remove all JEvents Events and categories, then uninstall and finally remove all tables from the DB.

Also, JEvents performs an orphan search of events after upgrade or re-install so that might be also a good thing to check after reinstalling (go to JEvents CPanel to check any message)

Well.. I deleted what I could delete (even in bin etc.) the old and new calender and 1 categorie were still there.. and I could not delete the calenders. But I could uninstall jevents. Now I have to find out how I can edit the database .. (I will get a sql manager and connect to it. we will see if it works.)

Hello,

Just publish the orphaned category and then remove the events from this too. Emptying the trash and delete the calendars.

Many thanks
Tony
