Events from Past are showing in event list

Disregard I found that changing to from Component Settings to Use Settings Below I was able to modify the view settings.

Still have a minor issue with the Letter "n" at the end of date\time of the event.

You can see the "n" between the date and icon

Sorry I am new to joomla so if you need more info please let me know.

There is a problem with the \n in the default value of the custom format string that appears to have crept in during a recent Joomla upgrade. The new release of JEvents out later today will eliminate this issue.
