Hi there

I recently purchased a Club Subscription for JEvents. Since then I have updated my extension, and have since begun experiencing some serious bugs with the extension. I have spent some time tweaking the various options but am not able to rectify the problems.

I have been using JEvents for many years, so I am quite familiar with using it, and haven't been able to get passed these issues. I would therefore like to cancel my Club Subscription, and would like a refund of the payment. If this needs to be a pro-rata refund due to the short time I have bees subscribed, I am fine with this too. I can provide my Club ID Code if necessary.

I did try to contact your team using your "Contact Us" form, however I was met with consistent error messages, hence I'm posting this thread instead in the hopes of getting a response.

I'm very sorry to hear this. We would hate to see you go without us being able to offer you first line support? Inline with the Joomla! standards we did move from Mootools to jQuery and this has caused issues with some templates which we are more than happy to help rectify. If you would like me to help with your issues, just send me a PM explaining the issues and the super user login details for your site and I will take a look for you.

If you really do want to cancel, then please just login with your club login and PM Geraint asking for a refund.

Hi Tonyp

Thanks for your message, I'm prepared to stick with JEvents if you guys are able to help me get our template working once again. Is there any way I can communicate with you via instant messenger or voice comms, as our issues are fairly complex and it will be difficult to explain the fault via private messages.

Could you advise if there is any way we can communicate real time?

Hi Again

Today I was carrying out some tests, and it appears since the recent patch - the problems I was experiencing with our custom field counter has been resolved!
I believe this line from the patch notes covered our issue:

"3.4.6 - fix for attendee counting when using lists that count towards the capacity"

So, so far so good - thanks for releasing this critical patch, it seems to have saved our bacon.
We use this extension a LOT in our community, it's a great product and since we use a lot of custom fields & custom capacities, this patch was very much welcomed.

Crisis averted, will be in touch if we have any further problems!

You are very welcome and very happy to keep you onboard! We always endeavour to fix any issues as soon as they arise. We test as much as possible, but given the massive amount of unique scenarios you can do with JEvents, it's almost impossible to test it 100%.
