Hello guys,
I recently created a new category to add to the previous two that my calendar was displaying and assigned a couple of events to it.
I added this category as the ones to display in the module too, but it wouldn't show it on the front end unless I clicked on ALL CATEGORIES on the legend of the calendar monthly view. The category itself is published and of public access.
This category not showing on the main calendar doesn't work for me cause otherwise the events will go unnoticed.
I also tried leaving the categories field blank on the calendar module so that it would just display all categories, and it didn't change a thing. Currently, it is only displaying 2 categories.
Can anyone help me out?

Hello,

It sounds like you have selected a category on the menu items parameters and therefore it will not show events from it until you click all categories on that view.

So edit the menu item and unselect all categories and it will find all categories by default.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

I did this too, clearing the categories in the calendar module, so like you advised, the component would list them all by default, but it still won't list them.
Lists 2 categories instead of the 3 that exist.

Do you think that a re-install would help? A month ago it locked me from adding new events and that was the only thing that would solve the problem.

A reinstall shouldn't make a difference but wouldn't do any harm either.

Do you have a filter module on that page?

Thanks
Tony

Yay! Tony it wasn't the filter module but, your suggestion made me check the latest events one. That was the one skewing the query. Once I cleared that one, the calendar acted as expected. Thanks for hearing me out.
