Hi Folks - am new to this stuff so pls bear with me. I know that most events calendars export to iCal but as our magazine shows both online and the data is also exported for use within our magazine pages, we need it to export the additional data that is supplied by our users rather than just the date, time, place and title. Does JEvents export into anything other than iCal as this is our biggest problem. Our current calendar exports into pdf but the calendar backend is a bit of a dog and doesn't work properly and cannot be automated so we have to type everything in that our users send us - this is a real time consuming pain in the bum! We really love the look and feel of this particular product but don't want to purchase until we know what we can export to and how easy this portion of the process is, maybe screen shots or something as we haven't been able to find these on the demos ? Can anyone help ?

Hello,

Welcome to JEvents!

What exactly are you wanting to export too?

Also, what extra fields are you wanting to import?

Thanks
Tony

It is possible to export to CSV file (there is a club member article explaining how to do this) and its also possible to create specialised menu items that present information in a suitable form for printing - again there is a club member article explaining this too.

You can import events in iCal or CSV format (See http://www.jevents.net/docs/jevents/ite ... csv-format for how to format the CSV file)

Thank you Geraint,

Could you please provide links to the club member articles you mention above? I couldn't find them. Thank you in advance.
