How the JEvents CustomModule works?
I want to display some selected events.
How can I select events and display that events in a module position?

Long Story short, it allows you to show specific parts of your event in module positions, but only when in the event detail page.
For showing selected events you better use the latest events module. You can find a guide for using it here:
