Hello,

I'm testing today smart search in my Joomla 2.5.9 site with Jevents.

I try search somethink.. That work, but when I click to any results, it show me home page only.

result url's are:
../component/jevents/icalevent_detail/134/-
and this is automatically redirect to home page

It show me ../component/jevents/icalevent_detail URL under each result, although result is article..

For Example:

Smart Search URL:
../component/jevents/icalevent_detail/57/-
Correct URL:
../kurzy/jazykove-kurzy/detailudalosti/57/-/jazyk-italsky

(latest JEvent 2.2.8.)

Does your template have no component output on the home page?

Many sites have several JEvents menu items so JEvents doesn't know which one to use which is why we default to the home page.

I'll add a config option to select a target menu item in JEvents 3.0.13 (out soon).

If you have component output on the home page then the event should display there correctly. If its not then it could be a SEF problem.

You can either wait for version 3.0.13 (out within 2 weeks) or edit the JEvents finder script and add a specific Itemid to the link
