2. Copy and Paste the JEvents Support Information from the JEvents Control Panel.
3. If you get a 500 error OR white page, enable Maximum Error Reporting in Joomla! Global Config and visit the page again, this should give you a more detailed error and help us provide a prompt response.

Running Joomla 2.5.8, JEvent 2.2.8

When I click on Add an event it does nothing. I checked the error log and it states that I have undefined objects.

This is the error from the browser:
SCRIPT438: Object doesn't support property or method 'addEvent'
view_detail.js, line 116 character 1
SCRIPT5009: 'Browser' is undefined
md_stylechanger.js, line 13 character 1
SCRIPT5009: 'Browser' is undefined
hide.js, line 5 character 1
SEC7115: :visited and :link styles can only differ by color. Some styles were not applied to :visited.
index.php?option=com_jevents&view=month&layout=calendar&Itemid=489&lang=en
SCRIPT5009: 'SqueezeBox' is undefined
editpopup.js, line 9 cha

Is it possible I am missing a component?

I have these modules installed:
JEvents View Switcher
JEvents Filter
JEvents Legend
JEvents Calendar
Latest JEvents

I have tried these in IE 9.0 and Chrome with the same results. If I turn of the pop-up I can get to the part of adding an event, but when I press save nothing happens.

I know it is a javascript problem, but how do I fix it?

Thank you.

Hello,

Your not missing anything. It looks like you have some scripts clashing.

1. Upgrade to Joomla 2.5.9 for security.

2. Check if you a library called JQuery loaded? this can be loaded by your template or another module/component/plugin. We use the Offical Joomla! Mootools Library so if someone is loading MooTools and it's conflicts its not loaded in no.conflict mode.

Regards
Tony

Thanks Tony, I will do that. I ran into another issue with Joomla. When I try to upgrade I get a corrupt file error. I will post back when I get it fixed.
