JEvents 1.5 (No longer actively supported)

upgrade jEvents from 1.5 to 2.2  Topic is solved

JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

I want to upgrade joomla site from version 1.5 to 2.5. But before I want to do this, I will upgrade jEvents on Joomla 1.5 site to the newest version 2.2.

I have tried this on my localhost but it was going wrong "DATABASE_TABLE_SETUP_WAS_REQUIRED".

Stupid, because I suppose that it is somewhere on the JEvents site but where can I find the upgrade documentation on de JEvents site?

At this moment I have version 1.5.5f and I have read on this forum you have to upgrade first to 1.5.6. So I have found version 1.5.6 and installed.
Then I have try version to install version 2.2.8 to install but the same result "DATABASE_TABLE_SETUP_WAS_REQUIRED", and alle Calendar items lost.

Am I on the right track or not? Or where can I find the upgrade for joomla 1.5 from JEvents verstion 1.5.6 to 2.2.8?

When you upgrade JEvents, did you click the database upgrade button? It should be shown directly after the install.

Feel free to PM me if you would like Custom Installs or Joomla! related work for a competitive quote.

My Excuse,

I thought what is this without reading the complete text. Then later I saw "Create database xxxxxxxxx user denied etc etc.."
Last, a few months ago (but I had forgotten that I have done this), I have give this user less rights on my localhost, only user rights not the admin rights. So I have changed this and now it works perfect.

It is solved.
