JEvents 1.5 (No longer actively supported)

feature/option question re: latest events

JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

Is there currently an option that I am not seeing that allows users to not show certain events of their choosing in the latest events modules?

As it currently appears to me, if there is an event on the calendar it will show up on the latest events. We have some events that we do not want to show in the latest events module but most events we do want to show in that module.

Thanks

This is not standard functionality.

There is, however, a club addon (JEV People) that was designed for managing people such as artists, promoters etc. but can be used for many other purposes. In your case you could create a 'person' called "show in latest events" and then configure your module to only show events with this "person". My sound a little strange but would work.

Alternatively you could use the "Priority" field and write a small custom plugin to only show featured events in your module.
