Hi

I can't get Jevent make all event creation have the publish state set to 'unpublished' at the creation.

Any event I create is automatically set to 'published' .How can I change this please?

thanks

Hello cyril,

You need to set the permissions in the JEvents->Configuration->permissions

That Publish is denied.

Tony

Hi

I set the permissions for an author:
"Enable User Authorisation" is set to NO
"Publish Own?" is et to NO

and for the author permissions
"publish/manage events" is set to NO

but as an author, when I create an event, it is created as "published" however!

What di I forget please?

thanks

Hi Cyril,

Check that the category permissions are set to inherit.

Also make sure the user is not a member of another group which can publish events.

Hello,

Please upload the attached file (unzipped) to:

/administrator/templates/Your ADMIN template/html/com_jevents/icalevents/

It sets the default states to unpublished and only shows the publish/un-publish selector to Super Admins.

Tony

Hi!

It´s possible to change the default state to unpublished but being able to publish anyways? I want that my user is able to publish, only I don´t want that by mistake they publish an event that they haven´t finished to write.

The only way would be to deny users the the right to publish own events? But they then need to be moderated.

Thanks
