JEvents not Saving  Topic is solved

Forum rules
When requesting support please follow these steps:

1. Update all JEvents add on's first, via the Joomla! Updater
2. Copy and Paste the JEvents Support Information from the JEvents Control Panel.
3. If you get a 500 error OR white page, enable Maximum Error Reporting in Joomla! Global Config and visit the page again, this should give you a more detailed error and help us provide a prompt response.

Hi.

I've installed Joomla 2.5.8 + JEvents 2.2.8 and no matter how I try, which browser I use, front or backend (even as Super Administrator) I am unable to create and save an event.

Any suggestions...?

Hello,

What editor are you using? some times the editor clashes.

Try using none.

Hi

I was using Code Mirror but when I created a standard user and edited the settings within JEvents they could indeed post using the standard editor.

Just a thought...

Is it possible to do the following:

Set ALL events to "registered view only" by default and also allow any registered user to create and edit their own events without editing the Joomla user inherited settings...?

Hello Harlequin,

Yes it is. You need to configure the permissions on both the categories and on the JEvents->Config->Permissions.
