Events not visible in backend when created!  Topic is solved

Forum rules
When requesting support please follow these steps:

1. Update all JEvents add on's first, via the Joomla! Updater
2. Copy and Paste the JEvents Support Information from the JEvents Control Panel.
3. If you get a 500 error OR white page, enable Maximum Error Reporting in Joomla! Global Config and visit the page again, this should give you a more detailed error and help us provide a prompt response.

Hello,

Can you check the multi-category setting in JEvents, and change it from what it currently is an save, does this now resolve the issue?

I tried that already. After turning multi-category events on and later on trying to display events in the backend, I get this:

When I turn it off, 'Events' button works again, but still only one event is visible.

I suspect you have created events with a LOT of repeats - and have gone over the 'large data set' threshold.

Can you edit the JEvents config and increase the large data set criteria to 200000 from the default 100000 at the bottom of the second tab.

Hi,

I'm afraid I have the same issue. I have a multilingual site (Dutch, English and Flemish): http://webdev.informedconsulting.com. The multi-category option is turned off. I've created a category per language that I want to use for JEvents (only Dutch and Flemish). I've set the category language in both cases to "All".

Any event I create, disappears when I save it.

Please help!

Hello Imke,

I have taken a look and all Seems ok? Checkout the test event I made.

I did however notice, you are using RokPad.

Can you please try disabling this and it is know for causing problems with JEvents, with how it processes code. We find JCE really good.

Hi Tony,

I've just created an event now too, and edited yours, and they're both still visible :oops: . I'm not sure what's changed, because I've created about 6 events before this and they all disappeared. Thanks for the help!
