Is there an API that can be accessed via PHP in order to add a new event? (free or subscribed version)

I have another application using ChronoForms that creates an event that I would like to add to the calendar.

Hello Sloan,

No there is no API.

You could I suppose find the necessary queries and run it against the database, If ChronoForms allows this.

Feel free to PM me if you would like Custom Installs or Joomla! related work for a competitive quote.

There are a number of methods that JEvents uses to create events from input data which you could reuse - I would recommend that you follow the code in a debugger through to see how this is done. The best place to start would be to look at how iCal imports work.

JEvents Club members can get priority forum support at the Support Forum. As well as access to a variety of custom JEvents addons and benefits. Join the JEvents club today!
