Geraint,

Hey, I upgraded the component this weekend, tested it and it seemed to work. My client then uploaded a new file, and it gave the same error as before.

Error_log:

[28-Nov-2011 18:03:03] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'DateTimeZone::__construct() [<a href='datetimezone.--construct'>datetimezone.--construct</a>]: Unknown or bad timezone (Eastern Standard Time)' in /home/pinecres/public_html/www/components/com_jevents/libraries/iCalImport.php:505

Geraint,

I just found the "Eastern Standard Time" TZ in the file, its another non-standard TZID.

I updated the iCalImport.php with this one too, just to get it working for the upload. I'm not sure how you want to handle this. There seems to be quite a few non-standard TZs in the Windows environment.

Thanks,

Bryant

Its going to be a matter of adding them into the codebase as we come across them - I've not come across a standardised list yet :(

Why do they have 10 different ways of outputting the same timezone when there is an internationally accepted standard for timezone names ? :( [that's a rhetorical question]
