Hi there!

First of all, thanks for this great extension!!!

I am trying to display my events in a external site, using the RSS mod, with a custom style.

Editing the file "components\com_jevents\views\modlatest\tmpl\rss.php", I could stylize the RSS description field:

$item->set('description', "<span class=data>".$item_description."</span>" ."<span class=data>" .$item_location."</span> " ."<span class=data>" .$temptime->toFormat(JText::_('JEV_RSS_DATE'))."</span>" ." : " ."<span class=data>" .$item_organizer."</span>" ." : " ."<span class=data>" .$item_type."</span>" ."<span class=data>" .$item_extra_info."</span>");

But when I try to edit the title field, using the same CSS classes, the RSS constructor clean up all the tags.

Anybody knows this issue?

Is possible to format all the RSS fields?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english...

You'll need to look at the JFeedImage and JFeedItem classes in Joomla to see what it possible I'm afraid.

So, the array $title comes without HTML tags to the JEvents RSS generator?

JEvents uses the Joomla RSS generator - I'm afraid I've not looked at the code but it looks as though (from what you say) the title field strips the html tags.

It´s true! The Joomla RSS Reader clean up the title calling the function strip_tags().

I´ve found this file (libraries/joomla/document/feed/renderer/rss.php) and it works!

Thank you so much, Geraint!
