hI,
Is it possible to display latest events on the home page as well as in the latest events module?.. So When I create an event it appears in the module and also as a latest article on the home page....

I have a category blog layout in J!3.03 and latest version of jevents.

Hello,

So what you want is to show an article of the event at the same time as saving the event correct?

Regards
Tony

Have you tried using the menu item of type "JEvents Date Range"?

you should be able to display the same events in both if your latest events logic is not too complex and then use the layout defaults feature in JEvents to display the info you need.

You also may use the "loadmodule" feature of Joomla! to display a module that has exactly the same event logic but with a different custom string so that it displays more info about your events.

Hi, yes I have a category blog layout for my home page. I would like the event to appear as an article on the home page as well as appearing in the module latest events that I have in position 7 on the beez template(left)....
When I create a category in jevents I see in the editor that at the bottom there is a button to link to anarticle. So I wondered if i could create an article in my blog layout category and then link to it from the manage events >>>new event editor... But on the new event editor there is no button to link to an article....
Thanks for any advice.

You can control the buttons that appear under the editor in the jevents config (editing tab).

Also you may be interested in the silver member agenda/minutes addon - this allows you to create a 2 way linkage between an event and an article with the option to have one auto-redirect to the other.
