JEvent calendar stopped working with error  Topic is solved

Forum for JEvents 3.1 for Joomla 3.x and 2.5.
Forum rules
When requesting support please follow these steps:

1. Update all JEvents add on's first, via the Joomla! Updater
2. Copy and Paste the JEvents Support Information from the JEvents Control Panel.
3. If you get a 500 error OR white page, enable Maximum Error Reporting in Joomla! Global Config and visit the page again, this should give you a more detailed error and help us provide a prompt response.

Hello,

I am using JEvents 3.0.0.9 with Joomla 2.5.2.

I was adding more categories and when I was done, i noticed that, there were Events that got added from nowhere. If I click on the events to edit, I get this error-
'Sorry - This item may have been updated while you have been viewing the webpage. Please try again'
Even the calendar that was showing an event is not appearing!
I also noticed these events have Access column blank.
Please help,

Hello,

1. Please update Joomla to 2.5.9
2. Please update JEvents to 3.0.12

Now, this sounds like you have deleted a category after events have been assigned to it. Is that possible?

Did you change the Joomla! ALC at all?

I believe the only way for these events to be deleted now is to remove them via the database.

This may sound stupid, but how do I upgrade JEevents of my source site (1.5.26 version with Jevents 1.x) to the latest version?
