If I make an multiday event starting day one at 08:00 and end day two at 15:00 it looks like the event tages place at day one from 08:00 - 15:00 and day two from 08:00 - 15:00. What I want is day one to be from 08:00 - 23:59/24:00 and day two from 00:00 - 15:00.

Is this only possible if I make to single events?

Make it a repeating event and edit the 2 repeats afterwards to change the end time of the first and the start time of the second
