Hello!

I'm using jEvents 2.2.7 on a Joomla 2.5.7.

I've added a new menu item on my website that is linking to the iCal export page.

I think that page is not well displayed. Categories are not sorted well and they are not in a tree-view (this is absolutely important for me, that i've a lot of categories and subcategories).

Another important feature (maybe i've to open another thread), is the possibility to hide categories from back-end (and from the export page), but not from the calendar front-end event view.
I've many categories, as i said before, and to add a lot of events every year is quite difficult if i've to scroll the categories' select box each time, and to set categories as "archive" is not for me, because it simply deletes my past events from the calendar (and i want they are visible forever).

But ok, i know that this feature is not really simple to do, but how can i do with the export page?

PS: if you want take a look at my export page, you can go here http://www.polcampeginese.it/calendario ... als.ical/-

Thanks,
Stefano

Hello Stefano,

This is some thing we are looking at in JEvents 3.0.

You can hide them from the export page, by just selecting the ones you want to show in the Export Menu Item Parameters.

Regards
Tony

Ok, thank you!

I'll try to hide old categories as you suggest.
