Hi there,

I'm a big fan of your component. I've installed it in several of my joomla websites. Now I've got the following problem. I used your calendar to post the menu of the day.
Each calendercell shows the menu of the day. I've added the edit button in the layout section so my client can adjust the menu from the frontend.
{{Bewerk knop:EDITBUTTON}}
{{Omschrijving:DESCRIPTION}}
Only problem is that when I want to adjust a menu en click in the according cel to adjust it, the editor box shows me the menu of the day to edit.
Andy idea what I'm doing wrong. You can check out my calendar at http://www.fivatcatering.be/dagschotels
Your help is much appreciated.
kind regrads
Sven

The edit event button is not supported in calendar cells or list views - that is why it is not offered in the dropdown when you edit these layouts.

If you want to offer event editing from the calendar cell you'll need a template override.

Hi there,

I did an template override to add the edit button to the calendarcell so the edit button is visible when I login from the front end. Only problem is that when I try to adjust the description of a calendarcell it opens op the wrong description.
See http://www.fivatcatering.be/dagschotels.
If I want to adjust the description of the menu which is displayed on the 12th october the editor opens the descirption of the menu of 6 october. Actually every calendercell I want to adjust opens op with the description of the cell of 6 october.

I've made a screencapture so you'd have a better idea of the problem.
see http://www.fivatcatering.be/fivatjevents.mov

I hope you can help me out.

Thanks a lot

Can you tell us how you created this override?

And provide the source?

Regards
Tony

Its probably that its either using the same dialog for each link or the dialog output is being cached and it is repeating the same thing several times.
