I've created a calendar with a number of categories and events and have been testing the website with global config set to Site offline so didn't notice this.

Whan someone who is not logged in clicks an event is asks for login.

I've check the permissions on the calendar and categories and they are public so I'm surious why this is happening.

If it helps...

When I click a past event (as a non logged in user) it displays but future repeats do not.

I am also unable to create new users, it simply asks me to edit a user.

I assume this may have something to do with me creating and then deleting an additional calendar but fail to see the connection.

Are the menu items you have created public access too?
