Gantry based templates try to be too clever and attempt to style all radio buttons to be images. Their script doesn't work on the JEvents edit pages for some reason.

You can override this - if you edit the template settings, choose advanced, then add
Code: Select all
,'#jevents'
to the input styling exclusions

I don't think this is relevant for recent Gantry based RT templates - which template are you using?

Are you having problems with the event editing in the frontend? If so which version of JEvents do you have?

Hello!

Sorry, but just not "happy" with explaination of this problem.

I don't get it, how it's even possible if I take fresh installation of Joomla Gantry & install Jevents (which I love) & not working as it should. As Jevens site uses gantry & RT theme (which I also love). :evil:

Ok, to the problem.. I have this screen which I do not love.

Jevents-edit.jpg
Jevents-edit.jpg (60.61 KiB) Viewed 2024 times

And I have this screen in template advanced settings...
Gantry-advanced.jpg
Gantry-advanced.jpg (54.73 KiB) Viewed 2024 times

& where the hell do I add

,'#jevents'
to the input styling exclusions ???

THX for responding.

Hello,

No your problem is completely different to what the problem is here.

Your problem is that Gantry do not take into consideration that the front end might use administrative classes for the toolbars.

Add this:

Code: Select all
.pagetitle.icon-48-jevents {background:none;padding-left:0px !important;}

to remove the logo.

Add this:

Code: Select all
#toolbar li a{border:0px solid;line-height:1em;color:#FFF;}
#toolbar li {margin-left:15px;}

To fix the spacing and text, although the images are not showing? I cannot provide it as I cannot replicate it. Can you pm me login details to take a look?

Thanks
Tony

Hello,

Please add:

Code: Select all
#toolbar li a{border:0px solid;line-height:1em;color:inherit;}
#toolbar li {margin-left:10px;}

#toolbar-save .icon-32-save {
background-image: url('../images/icon-32-save.png') !important;
}
#toolbar-apply .icon-32-apply {
background-image: url('../images/icon-32-apply.png') !important;
}
#toolbar-cancel .icon-32-cancel {
background-image: url('../images/icon-32-cancel.png') !important;
}
.pagetitle.icon-48-jevents {background:none;padding-left:0px !important;margin:0px !important;}

#tabs .tabs.event {margin-left:15px;}

To your JEvents custom.css file.

That should resolve your issues.

Thanks
Tony
