Hello,

I have tested 3.0.10 of JEvents out later this week/next.

This should be resolved.

Tony

Thanks for spotting that - please change JParameter to JRegistry on the line referenced. JParameter is not supported in Joomla 3.0 and needs to be declared specifically in Joomla 2.5 - this looks like old Joomla 1.5 code slipping through

I'll do a new release of the standard images/files club addon soon

Unfortunately this update does not fix my problem with front-end editing. Remember that I use the mini calendar. I go to the days events. select the event, use the Joomla edit icon which displays a pull-down giving me four options, Select edit, Edit screen opens and allows me to edite event. When I press "Save" I still get

That is possible because your sef addon is redirecting the save event URL incorrectly OR your server's max_input_vars setting in PHP is too low.

Try is with SEF disabled first as a test

I seem to have really messed it up now.
I played without sef, also sef with various .htaccess file combinations and also played around with permissions etc.
I am now at the point of needing to make a clean sweep and start again from scratch to get back to the default settings etc and make sure everything is properly installed and any peculiar settings I may have created are deleted.
Is there an easy way to do this? Can you tell me which tables I need to keep (export) so that when I do a new install I can quickly put all the events back into the database (without putting back an of the messed up settings!)
Thanks
Richard

I can't imagine you would need to reinstall Joomla - what problems have you created for youself? The most likely explanation is you messed up the htaccess file - in which case take a copy of one from another website that works
