JEvents 1.5 (No longer actively supported)

Latest events module and multi-day events

JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

I am afraid the "Display Last Month" you are referring to only applies to the "Calendar module", but not the Calendar Monthly view.

Regarding the "Show Past Events to 'No' on the 'Year/Category View'", that will only avoid to show the events on the year or category views, but will not avoid showing the past events in other views or part of your JEvents installation (Latest module, calendar...)

To easily fulfill your requirements you need the "time limit" addon that is available to silver members and that can help you define a time range for the events to be shown.

Hi all,

I have upgraded today to jevents 2.0.11 an I am using jevents latest 2.0.2 and joomla 1.5.25. I now have again the problem with the multi-day events. I just want them to show once. The existing configurations don't work.

I want to display 3 different dates in the module jevents latest.

1. multiple-day (e.g. 12. September until 19. September)
2. whole day (e.g. 18. August)
3. specifi time on a day (e.g. 01. September 14:00)

It should look at the end like this

12.09 until 19.09
Workshop 1

18.09
Conference A

01.09 14:00
Meeting Group 1

How can I manage this?

The display modus ist 3 and the following individual time format:

${startDate(%a, %d.%m)}[m: bis ${endDate(%a, %d.%m)}][!a: ${startDate(, Start: %H:%M Uhr)}]
${title}

Thanks for any help
Berndle

1. What settings to you have for the multiday events themselves about appearing on more than one day
2. What setting do you have in the module for multiday event treatment.

I hope, I have the right translation:

1. settings in jevents-latest: multi-day events display once - yes

2. Settings for the calendar: multiday events - every day - yes.

Are these the settings you need? Thanks.

in english the module option is "Multiday Event Display" and the value you want to choose is "Display once even if event started in the past".

You may want to login to the backend in english to check the settings.
