JEvents 1.5 (No longer actively supported)

How do I show events legend module?

JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.
Forum rules
Please include as much detail in any test or bug reports for JEvents 1.5 as possible.

First of all, check if you are running the latest available version of Joomla! and JEvents. Posts for issues, where both systems are not updated, will be ignored.

We need the following at least:

* PHP version (e.g. 5.2.5). Note: Support for PHP4 is discontinued.
* Joomla! version
* JEvents version
* Web Server software (Apache or IIS with version number if possible)
* Server Operating system (e.g. Linux, Windows, Solaris, Darwin ...)
* Database version
* memory_limit from your phpinfo
* Web browser and version

Please enable error reporting and include any error messages in your posting. You do this via the Joomla Configuration - set "error reporting" to "maximum" on the Server tab.

Finally, please describe the steps required to recreate the problem and also please enable error reporting and give us any error messages generated.

Hi all,
Im am looking for someone that can help me/guide me to activating "Categories" (appropriate if events legend module is visible)".

Im not sure where to turn on Legend Module so if anyone can direct me I would much appreciate it :)

The second problem I am having is that when browsing our website http://www.livingplanit.com.au/index.php/month.calendar/2010/06/02/ we cannot select any other location besides sydney even though we have set up other locations in the 'Manage Calendar' section. Is there something I am missing? :(

Did you install the JEvents legend module?

For support for the managed locations addon can you ask in the silver/gold member club forum - thanks.

The legend module should pick up the categories that are currently active on the displayed calendar.

Do you have a specific URL to look at?

Heheh okay so I also fixed that :) Now I have one more question (I wish the IT guys that were paid to do this for us knew how to use the program)

http://www.livingplanit.com.au/index.ph ... Itemid=78#

I want it to read "Please select a course" and "Select a Course" where it says 'Please select a category'

Is there anyway to change that? I've looked around but cannot see any function that will allow me to do that :(

This will be in one of the JEvents language files - check language/en-GB/en-GB.com_jevents.ini

There is a club article about customising translations http://www.jevents.net/en/jevents-15-to ... events-153
