guide update 1.5 to 2.0

JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

Hello everybody,
has someone a short manuel/guidedance how to update jevents 1.5 to 2.0? I´m afraid of doing something wrong.
Is it possible using parallel both versions?
Which folder must be saved for not losing the existing events?
Thanks for help
Sven

If you are using Joomla 1.5 then you can just install JEvents 2.0.11 on top of JEvents 1.5.5 - your data should be unaffected. Though an up to date backup is always a good idea

Thanks, but I don't have 1.5.5. My version is 1.5.0 alpha2.
Is it possible to install on top this version also?

There are specific instructions for upgrading from 1.5.0 alpha 2 - see http://www.jevents.net/en/jevents-15-to ... nd-running

You should follow these instructions and upgrade to 1.5.6 first.
