JEvents 1.5 (No longer actively supported)

Problem to create users

JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

I use
Joomla 1.5.8 and 1.5.9 (same behaviour for this issue)
PHP 5.2.8 and Community Builder.
Everything works fine but .....
When I try to create authorized users I only have the choice between "select user" and "administrator" . No way to choose a registered user because they don't appear in the list.
May be it's due to the use of CB registration (jos_comprofiler) instead of Joomla registration (jos_users)

Change the config via the params button in the jevents control panel. this sets a floor on the user level in the list - otherwise some sites would have lists of several thousand to choose from ;)

Im so lost, could someone please explain with a bit more detail what I have to do to enable more users (registered)?

I log into joomla admin panel click on componets/JEvents MVC
Towards the top right corner I see Parameters and Help, I click Parameters.
This gives me the same options (Selevet User) and (Administrator)

What am I doing wrong all I want to do is enable registerd user to be able to add there own events.

Thanks in advance and great work on this project.

Could you please be so kind and tell me what the params should be. I've tried everything and now I get a list of site members. There has to be a way to just have all registered members added without having to manage each one.

Thank you so much!

In the parameters screen set the "enable user authorisation" option to "No". Set "Creator Level" to "registered"

The logged in registered users should be able to add events in the frontend but not publish them.

Is you want registered users to publish then change the "publisher level" accordingly/.
