When there are several items in a shopping cart and we issue a refund for one of them, it appears that ALL the items have been refunded. This messes up our reconciliations...

Any thoughts on how to work around this? Thanks.
These are all RSVP Pro transactions in the same cart of a mix of RSVP Pro and other VM products? Is it an RSVP Pro transaction that is being refunded?

These are all RSVP Pro items....some even in the same product class (i.e., tickets to two different lectures)

I'm trying this out on my server and have completed by test order with 2 RSVP Pro transactions but when I open the order details in VM I don't see how I have cancel/refund one line item - I can change the drop down but can't find a 'submit' type button anywhere

that would be helpful thanks. But the main issue I'm facing in trying to recreate the issue is that I don't know how to do a partial refund within Virtuemart - if you can explain how I do that then I can recreate the issue and find the solution

Attached isi a screen shot. When you use the drop down menu in virtumart for one item the status changes for every item in that cart. Hope this helps.

There was no screenshot attached. But if refunding one item in the cart changes the status for all the elements then this sounds like an issue in Virtuemart not RSVP Pro.

Unfortunately Virtuemart is a very sophisticated Joomla addon and we can't advise on changes like this.

I would be surprised if they don't support partial refunds/cancellations since they have line item status in the order. I would suggest you ask them for advice at virtuemart.net on how to cancel part of an order.

Are your refunds/partial cancellations being triggered by the payment gateway or manually?
