Hello. I have a problem with Managed Locations 3.4.17, and I am wondering if it is addressed in the current version.
When the embeded map is clicked in an event listing, the request that is passed to Google Maps includes the JEv Location "title" field as the place name, in addition to the lat/lon. Google then displays a map that is centered on the lat/lon, but the marker could be miles away, based on Google's interpretation of the place name. When the user clicks Google's "Directions" icon, he/she gets directions to the marker. (See attached URL.)
This is a problem when you want to map a location that Google does not name, like a particular parking area at a large university. If you name your JEvents Location "Visitor Parking" or "North Parking Lot," Goggle will drop its marker someplace you do not expect.
That's the behavior in Locations 3.4.17. Is it any different in the current version?
Thank you.
Hello,
