Wondering how to set up this SlideShow module.

SlideShow module 3.4 was installed.
jevfiles34_3.7.11.zip was installed and the plugin is enabled.

The module appears in the position okay, but I can't get it to list any events, as all it says (apart from the module title) is "Sorry there were no events found". Seems I've tried turning every feature up or down, on or off, but there's never any events listed. Any pointers appreciated.
Hello,

Please add:

#jevlatestcarousel .item a{
color: #FFF;
}
#jevlatestcarousel .carousel-control {
margin-top: -30%;
}

to your JEvents -> Custom CSS

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

Please make sure the module has all sub categories selected within the module and not just the parent category.

Many thanks

Thanks Tony. My site didn't use sub categories, just parent categories. I created parent categories and sub-categories, and added all levels of categories into Slideshow module, and get the same result.

Hello,

Ok and can you confirm your events have images which were uploaded with the Standard Image and Files addon?

Many thanks

That was the problem. I went into each existing event and uploaded images and now the slideshow module is showing events. Thanks Tony.

I wonder now how to change the format of the bottom ribbon; it is dark gray with black font, and makes the event titles and dates hard to read.
