I would like to find out if one can select data from a mysql table to display on a jevents calendar on a website?
I have tried uploading a .csv file for testing purposes ---> -->0 Events imported is what it returns. Just to see whether it will work, adding an event manually (from both back end and front end), gives an error of --> Could not save repetitions & Event Not Saved

- I have to mention that I've searched and searched for answers on this forum, however I haven't really found something that works for my circumstance. I can say that I did try importing the csv file as a url, and it returned --> 3 events imported. -- what is funny is that I only have 1 row in the file, but nothing shows on the calendar.

(pardon me... relatively new to this joomla)
The specs below i believe are kind of old, I have just inherited a site from another person.

Using:
Joomla v1.5.22
Jevents v1.5.5
JCE v1.5.7.11
PHP v5.3.28
Hello,

Not out of the box, you need to use csv/ical import. But you are on an unsupported and an very very easily hackable version of Joomla! (It would take me around 3 minutes to hack your site and gain full control more than likely).

I'm afraid we can't really provide any support for such old software.

Many thanks
Tony
