Hello,

if a visitor uses the normal Joomla! search in the result page the ordering is always JEvents in first place regardless which ordering option is choosen.

Here is the support information of the current installation (test copy):

Hi Peter,
I think you can control that, just going to the plugin manager and reordering your Search plugins so that you set first the ones you want to appear first.

We only provide the plugin for Joomla to know what it has to search, but we do not control the whole ordering of the search results ;)
