Hello
is the RSVP PRO the ONLY way for the users to show their attendance to an event?
Trying to start a small website for cycling enthusiast who organize various events - and I would like to give users the possibility to set "attend / not decided / not attending" option... similiar to FB events... Do I really have to buy the gold membership only for that ?

You could use the JEvents simple event registration plugin for Silver members, which allows members to simply click yes or no.

I also use RSVP Pro on a local cycling club website which you can see it in action:

You sure can.

When you want to buy gold, just go and buy it as normal, it will take into account your current subscription.
