REPEATSUMMARY in 3.4.0 Event_Detail_Page

Using the WYSIWYG editor for Custom Layouts, it seems that REPEATSUMMARY has stopped working in my Event Detail Page -- it renders nothing. It _does_ work properly in my custom List Row Detail. (This is after updating jEvents from 3.1.47 to 3.4.0.)

Is REPEATSUMMARY deprecated?
