When updating JEvent I receive a message stating "This version of JEvents is designed for Joomla 3.4.4 and later."

How is that possible since I am currently running Joomla 3.6.2?

What operating system are you installing on? is it windows by any chance?

Operating system is CentOS, not Windows.

I updated Joomla from 3.6.2 to 3.6.5 and then I was able to complete the update for the JEvent plugin... Weird.

Hello,

This was because JEvents requires Joomla! 3.6.3 since we added the usage case of a new feature in Joomla! 3.6.3. I've updated the notices to reflect the correct version now out today.
