Hi there,
I'm quite familiar with the component and module settings; this is the first time I'm having an issue and I believe it is related to settings pertaining to repeat events.

In the component, repeat events are set to show on all days (and that is needed for this particular site). In the module, I've chosen Display Mode 2 /max 30 days ahead /Future events only.

Still, past events show in the module

Live site http://www.healthykidsmanitoulin.com - REALLY need help with this one!

Thanks,
Gina G.
Not sure how I missed this before.... but all of the events that started in the past but have repeat events into the future are also showing.
Explanation: We have a one-hour event every Monday and Wednesday for 2 months. It was entered as a weekly repeat (on x days) starting Feb 21st and ending April 21st. ALL of those events are showing, even though everything is set to only show future events.

HELP PLEASE!

I didn't realize that my client had entered the repeat events incorrectly. If you have a scenario like the repeat events in previous post, you need to enter as follows:

1. First instance of event
Blabla activity starting [u:39i1sb3u]March 08th 9am[/u:39i1sb3u], ending [u:39i1sb3u]March 08th 10am[/u:39i1sb3u]
2. Choose your repeat pattern and number of repeats (or end date)

Because our events were entered as
Blabla activity starting March 08th 9am, ending April 20th, 10am

the end date of ONE instance was still in the future, hence the event showed, no matter what other settings we used. At least, I believe that's what the culprit was. All is working well now.
