Thanksgiving Day every year on repeat

Hi there!

I wanted to know, if there is no holiday plugin, is there a way to repeat an annual event like Thanksgiving to automatically adjust each year since its not the same date, just the same day (Thursday)?

Hello,

This is easily done with JEvents standard. Just create a repeating event for monthly -> By day: T
Weeks: select the valid week and select count back from end of month so it takes into consideration leap years.

Actually you want the 4th thursday in November (so counting forward not counting back ;) )
